Fabricated at the Staging Dimensions facility in New Castle, DE, Wunderstructures are built to last. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum pipe and 6005-T5 aluminum tube with the capacity to easily bridge five decks, they continue to be the first-choice staging product among rental companies and production houses.
How Wunderstructures Work
Wunderstructures create a bridging system that connects multiple stage decks by enabling uniform leveling for up to five decks with one Wunderstructure. This streamlines the setup process by significantly reducing the number of deck leveling points by consolidating them into single surface points. To build a 40’ x 40’ stage system you need 50 decks but only 18 Wunderstructures with 72 leveling points instead of the 200 leveling points for fixed or adjustable legs.
Each leg is individually adjustable making load-in on unleveled terrain a breeze. Combined with a no tool installation and the capability to fold flat for storage & truck packs, bridging stage decks with Wunderstructures effectively cuts load-in and leveling time in half.
Locator Plates
Locator plates attach to the top of each Wunderstructure leg and bridge multiple decks using a node and bolt system. Nodes can be arranged in a variety of configurations to suit your staging design including single, double (left or right), and quad. The configuration of nodes determines how many decks are bridged onto one locator plate for each individual Wunderstructure. Each Wunderstructures is shipped with four quad locator plates allowing our customers to configure them to their specific stage design.
Swing Arms
Every Wunderstructure is equipped with two swing arms that swing out and lock into place using monkey claw clamps.
Set-up
Wunderstructures are arranged in the sequence of every other staging deck both horizontally and vertically on most stage configurations. Our team of experts will assist in ensuring the correct number of decks, Wunderstructures and additional accessories are ordered for your stage design.
Available Sizes
Wunderstructures are adjustable within a set height range with a hand activated spring plunger that adjusts the height in two inches increments. An additional three inches of fine adjustment are provided by individual steel zinc chromate, black rubber dipped 3” level feet. Wunderstructures can be fabricated in multiple sizes starting at 2’ x 4’ up to 4’ x 8’. Custom Wunderstructures are also available for custom trapezoidal or curved stage decks. Powder-coating, anodizing and galvanizing options are also available.

Additional Accessories & Customized Options
Wunderstructures can be used in conjunction with other Staging Dimensions accessories and stage support options including fixed height legs, adjustable height legs, rolling legs and I-beams.
Inverted Wunderstructures where the legs rise-up instead of drops down to adjust height are used on tiered riser systems allowing our customers to bridge side to side & front to back. Standard Wunderstructures can also be used in this application just turn them upside down and remove the footpad.
Stacking sleeves used in conjunction with ratchet straps allow our customers to double stack their Wunderstructures so that they can accommodate higher elevations without purchasing additional equipment.
Caster pots in single, double and quad configurations easily convert a stationary stage to a rolling stage. Our Caster Pots are available with 4” & 6” locking polypropylene casters and 8” & 10” locking pneumatic turf tires.
