SD5000 Staging
Staging Dimensions offers superior staging products for any occasion or event. The SD5000 portable stage deck offers you the versatility to assemble decks in countless configurations.
The Dual Lock™ coffin locks that come standard with each SD5000 deck allow you to lock each deck side-by-side or end-to-end for constructing multiple configurations with ease. One twist of a T-handle and the decks are locked together for added strength and stability. The SD5000 portable stage decks are designed to work with standard legs, adjustable legs or with our exclusive bridging understructure system, Wunder Structure.
Accessories include stair units, legs, adjustable legs, Wunder Structure understructures, guardrails, storage carts, chair stops, closure panels and skirting.
Standard Deck Size: 4’ x 8’ x 3 3/4"
Frame Extrusion: Aluminum tube extrusion frame is constructed of 6105-T5 extruded aluminum. Tube construction offers superior strength while remaining lightweight.
Corner Extrusion: Corner extrusion is also constructed of 6105-T5 extruded aluminum. Separate corner extrusions allow for easy field replacement.
Hardware: All Staging Dimensions, Inc. decks are assembled with Grade 5 zinc plated bolts, Nylock nuts and screws.
Dual Locks: Dual Lock™ butt joint cam type coffin locks offer 2,500 pounds tensile strength. Each 4 x 8 deck has three male locks and three female locks that allow you to lock one deck to another. The male Dual Lock™ can be activated from the top or the bottom of the deck.
Point Load: All Staging Dimensions, Inc. portable staging decks have an allowable live load capacity 200 pounds per square foot.
Field Reparability: In the unlikely event a component should ever become damaged, you can make replacements with ease in your own facility or on location. Every component is bolted together, and zinc-plated screws secure the deck surface. This allows you to own these decks for years maximizing your return on investment.
Velcro: Every Staging Dimensions, Inc. deck comes standard with black hook Velcro ready to accept your choice of skirting. We engineered a slot into the frame extrusion to accept hook Velcro so it won’t be scraped or torn when assembling the decks.
Deck Surfaces: Staging Dimensions, Inc. portable stage decks are available in a variety of standard and custom surfaces. Standard surfaces include unfinished plywood, finished plywood, Plyron Hardboard, Hair Cell Polyvinyl, Quad Ripple Polyvinyl and carpet. Additional surface options include grated aluminum, translucent plexiglass and opaque plexiglass. Custom surfaces can also be built to your specifications.
Product Guarantee: STAGING DIMENSIONS, INC. guarantees its products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials at the time of purchase providing the purchaser follows the manufacturer’s guidelines for use. The product will be guaranteed to perform according to the published specifications for a period of three years (with the exception of the SD6000 Raindance which is guaranteed for for a period of one year) from the date of shipment. STAGING DIMENSIONS, INC. is not responsible for damage to products where load specifications were exceeded or where guidelines for usage were not followed.
